Payback time!

This is how I got my revenge on the girl for stacking toys on me while I napped.
First, I waited for her to fall asleep. Then I walked up to the bed and BARKED really loud at her. For no reason. Just to get her back. Then she fell asleep again. and I BARKED really loud at her. I did this a few times so she would be fuzzy when she woke up.

Step 2 of my revenge was to put a hard bone on the floor. This is when she steps when she gets out of bed in the morning. She was really tired (from my barking) and stepped on it. hehehehe.

In case she missed the bone on the floor, I had a back up plan. I put the sharp dinosaur shank in her slipper. She saw that one though, and didn't get poked.
For my final revenge, I waited until she made her bed.
Then I jumped on it and made a mess of the covers again! heheheheh!
Now that she's learned her lesson, I'm going to enjoy my bone! And it tastes so sweet..... or is that the taste of revenge?

Poor BLU, she has sooooooo much to learn about revenge. I don't think that taught the girl a lesson at all. Now I'm worried that she might try putting toys on me when I sleep. So..... Here's your warning......
Stack toys on me and I will barf on your rug.
There's plenty more where that came from, so consider yourself warned, my girl.

You would never believe what kind of holiday treat we got!

Our girl made us a corn dog sundae!We never knew such a yummy thing could exist.

All mixed into one delicious treat! Which part should I eat first?

Even though we had scary thunder and fireworks, this was the best 4th of July ever!

Happy 4th of July!

Thanks to the great sleuthing of our friends, Comet found his head. Now he's trying to blow it off again with fireworks! Happy July 4th to all of our friends!

We're not looking forward to the fireworks tonight. They make lots of loud bangs and the sky gets bright. Hmmmm....maybe that isn't so much different than the thunderstorms we had last night. We didn't like those either. Hopefully we will get to eat a hot dog or something to make up for the scary noises.

All out of food

Our girl fed us the last of our food for breakfast on Saturday morning. She was supposed to go to the store and get us more food, but she was still sick and didn't feel healthy enough to leave the house. Guess what we had for dinner Saturday night?BISCUITS!!!!
hmmmm.... I guess we could forgive the girl for running out of food.
She felt better today and bought us "real" food, so we wouldn't starve to death.

It'Snot Fun!

The girl has been home for the last three days. But do you think she played with us? NOOOOoooo!
She just sleeps, makes honking noises with her nose, and sounds like she has kennel cough. That'SNOT fun!!


And, to top it off, every day she fills this can with all sorts of tasty looking tissues. And I'm not allowed to eat any of them!

Maybe she will stay home tomorrow and actually play with us. Or at least let us eat a tissue!

Sorry that we haven't had much of a chance to visit any of our friends. When our girl isn't working looooooong hours, she is hogging the computer to plan a vacation.

Yard patrol

Now that I got rid of that pesky cat (the mean girl didn't actually let me eat it) I decided to patrol my yard to see what other intruders need to be eliminated. Follow me. Let's see what else I need to get rid of.There were a bunch of sparrows.
Mourning doves.Pigeons.
Gila Woodpeckers.

And some lizards.
But not any more. hehehehe.

Welcome Wagon

How do you welcome your people home from work?

This is how we do it. First Comet guards the door and watches for the girl's car.
Look carefully, you can see his nose in the curtains.

Comet gets all excited and jumps up and down at the door.

BLU runs outside and looks out the back gate to make sure it really is the girl.
Then we both run around like crazy, jumping on the girl, licking and kissing the girl, and trying to trip her. Finally, we eat our breakfast that we saved all day.

Where oh where has our girl gone.....

Wow, there were a lot of close guesses about where my girl went. She did go to a canyon, but not Bryce or the Grand Canyon. She went to Canyon de Chelly, in northeastern Arizona. If you click here, you can see more pictures on what she calls her travel blog, but we call it her Abandon the Dogs, Blog. Did she also go to Egypt?

Nope, but she did visit this National Park while she was deserting us. We bet that JB and her mom and dad know where this is.


{Comet and BLU are being quite melodramatic about my leaving. I am home now and was only gone on Friday night. ONE NIGHT! And they were spoiled rotten while I was gone. You would think they would want me to leave more often! ~~their girl}
